Our Heritage
Founded in 1986, Cornish Coffee emerged to fill a void in Cornwall’s coffee scene, introducing complex, high-quality coffee to the region. Backed by the knowledge of our 220 year old parent roastery, we became one of the first companies in the county to supply and maintain espresso equipment. In 2014, we began roasting coffee in the UK which marked a significant milestone in our journey.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to quality, community, and sustainability. We always aim to provide exceptional coffee experiences while supporting local businesses and promoting ethical practices. Our dedication to hand-roasting and artisan methods reflects our belief that coffee is not just a beverage but a lifestyle, one that brings people together in various settings across Cornwall.

Our cafe is perched above Sandymouth beach and is a frequent stop-off for coast path walkers and beach goers alike. Our customers often talk about the rich flavour of Cornish Coffee that complements the beach atmosphere at Crooklets Beach Cafe. The unique blend offers a refreshing kick which is ideal for a day of surfing or a walk along the beach. The aroma seems to grab customers attention as they approach the beach from the car park, or along the coast path. It seems too often make them pick up their step as they reach the entrance to the cafe, and know that they’re in for a great cup of their favourite style of coffee.
